What's Your Story? -community art project
What's Your Story? -community art project was made for Tate Exchange programme at Tate Modern in London. The concept was mine and I was the director of the project, which I executed in collaboration with TAMK Fine Art students Barbara Jazbeck, Alexandra Mitiku, Isaura Hernandez, Konsta Koivisto and Tatu Heinämäki and about 750 visitors of Tate Modern.
In this project we invited the visitors to take part of our community art project and write the most important story of their life in a piece of tape that was later attached on the floor so everybody could in principle read each other's stories. The visitors were also invited to put on a green scarf, which worked as a kind of 'invisibility cloak' when they were filmed in front of green walls and transferred to places they fancied to go on video. Visitors were eager to share their stories and take apart of art collaboration.
